grabbed the wrong pic, my bad, fixed

I don't care for the Pettit attempt, but I wish they'd offer an add-on rear fender flare option for the RX8 like they do for the FD3

I have not seen specs on the current motor. Follow the link for the specs from the previous year.

The first pic below is from the previous car and the second pic is the current setup.

<---- This dude saw the car close up in person ...

*silent*

There are some behind the scene secret which so not gonna talk about it here over the internet. lol

Thanks to 810 whp the GT-R won the race this year. but I think after this year, knightsports will up it to 600 hp, they kept it at around 500 hp but fine tuned the suspension even more and they almost caught up to the GT-R already, the driver has really super humanity skills, but a pretty silent person (he doesn't talk much, even to team members)

cant waitz for the coming season... his assistant said, they are not going to do 'much changes' to the car except swapping out the gearbox to a Sequential one... And he is confidentz that alone will on par with the GTR !

Some of it is aero, but most of it is the ability to widen the track of the car (changed suspension mounting points, longer control arms, ability to have some serious camber, etc., etc.), and be able to run wider tires, while still keeping the wheels and tires within the fenders, which is a requirement for most closed-wheel racing sanctioning bodies.

Also, with software simulation the way it is nowadays, you don't need to test in a real wind tunnel. You can test every possible aero part in a virtual wind tunnel before any type of mold is even cast. As long as the aero parts are engineered within specs, you'll know what their aero signature will be.

P.S. Don't hate on **** you know nothing about.
