I wanted to make this post because while looking for this topic myself, I was seeing many mixed reviews about whether the Mazdaspeed spoiler fit in the OEM holes of the R3. I bit the bullet and bought a spoiler from Japan. I can confirm... YES the Mazdaspeed spoiler WILL fit the OEM bolt holes on the S2 R3. The only thing that needs to be done is the foam piece glued to the trunk has to be removed (please see pictures).

Hope this becomes helpful to those considering the same but wasn't able to find a clear answer.

PS. I cannot confirm the fitment of replica Mazdaspeed spoilers and it would highly depend on if the brackets follow the OEM pattern.
