If my memory serves me right, that 8 is own by the son of Amemiya, which will eventually become the next own of Re-amemiya.

 

I dunno...looks pretty cool to me. I like the suggestion about the blacked out grill, and that rear end is definitely a step up the exotic ladder. I'd have to say "thumbs up" on the car.

 

I think those wheels are Volk TE37 Tokyo Time Attack...and I think I have a new favorite wheel for my BB.

 

LE37 has a lip. Time Attack is more of a flat/satin black with a red stripe.

I see the spokes appear thicker near the center bore on the LE. Tried to post some pics up so I could compare.

Sorry for the revival here, bad habits die hard...

So correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this kit the first to offer wider fenders for the s2? In my humble opinion that alone is worth consideration. In addition, with that front bumper you eliminate the need for oil cooler screens... I guess what I am saying is this kit is kind of the most functional one I have seen for an rx8, even if they are just minor things.

I do agree that stanced cars are overrated, but isn't that really in the eyes of the beholder? Not everyone uses their cars to go fast. I would even argue that maybe the Rx8 is a good candidate for being stanced because it is hard/costly to make more power with it. Modding the appearance is not so crazy, especially if you don't ever track the car.

Does anyone know where I can buy the auto craft side skirts and body front fenders? Vivid Racing doesn't have them anymore and Auto Craft told them they aren't making the kit anymore and don't have any parts available. I am a new member and have a 2009 RX8 that I am rebuilding and I really want the front fenders and side skirts.

there are many, but often they don’t list everything, but rather the things enquired about. You have to do your own good diligence seeking those things out that may be offered over there.
