Flat keeps things simple, if anything... added louvers would be reversed to draw even more air from under the car into the engine bay (more air through radiator).
I understand what you’re saying, but it can depend on how the louvers are setup the relative to the air flow passing over them. It requires sufficient delta P to encourage flow in the correct direction.

Sorry for old thread reviving. But haven’t you copied the one you have? It’s barely impossible to deliver this thing to my country. It would be much easier to make it myself with blueprint if I had one. Unfortunately, I lost OEM one so now i don’t have any references
