Our RX-8 is a S1. It has not been tested on a S2. These are not radical changes.
The tunes in our database are unlocked and can be viewed or edited by anyone with the full version of VersaTuner. You are also free to create your own tunes from scratch with the full version of VersaTuner.

I'm starting for now and if I could find a tune for s2, in your database, it would have been nice. The red RX8 that you present in photo on this post? is it an S2? I would like to find a tune S2 really optimized on your database. Is it possible? Do you need me to test and send you a log file?

Hi all! I just purchased the full version VersaTuner and am curious if anyone has any recommendations for a good baseline tune given my particular mods.
The car is a 2009 Touring 6MT w/ less than 2k mi on Mazda Reman motor, 52k on trans/chassis)

The following mods have less than 2,000 miles on them, as they were installed with the reman engine.

BHR Ignition System
BHR Motor Mounts
ACT ProLite Flywheel
Racing Beat Exhaust Header
Magnaflow High-Flow Cat(AP cat-less midpipe until 500 miles ago, but had to replace it due to excessive noise)
Agency Power Cat-Back
Agency Power Crank Pulley
Koyorad Racing Radiator
Mishimoto Racing Thermostat
KN Drop in Intake Filter

Thanks in advance!!

Wow, I'm surprised no one has responded to this yet(constructive, or not). I tried posting the same question to the VersaTune forums, but it looks like most people's questions go un-answered there as well. I've sent a PM to Steve@VersaTune, no luck there either. And apart from their Black Friday ads, they've seemingly gone ghost in terms of truly answering questions on any forum in regards to anything technical. Starting to regret not digging deeper before purchasing!

It looks like they have a catback tune. Just use that. That's all you have. Maybe somebody could help you with the ignition/dwell since that is upgraded, but that's all.
