Megasquirt tune files & dyno results

Don't post much on here but though this info would be helpful to other RX-8 owners. I built a Lotus 7 replica based on a SII RX-8(engine, trans, rear end). For engine management I used a Megasquirt MS3X. Throttle body is a cable unit from a 4.6 Mustang. It actually bolted right up. I've attached my tune file for megasquirt in case anyone else tries to go this route they have a starting point. One other noteworthy thing is the 6 ports are controlled by reversing motor controller and two timing relays. One relay controls opening, the other closing. Each is energized for two seconds and those relays in turn control the motor controller. It's was a bit complicated but it works. Power seems to peak a few hundred RPM earlier than it should, but the peak is good. I tried a bunch of different timing and fueling settings but it didn't budge.

you don’t really want to be revving it much past 8500 rpm or so either unless you’re planning to tear it down and refresh it often.
