Stock S2 Dyno

So I won a free baseline Dyno at an open house and now I've finally had time to get it done today so here we go

162hp 114tq for the 3rd run

Video of the 1st run

Biggest thing that is getting me a bit odd is the waves at the top end and the fact these need tunes like crazy (AFR was in the low 11s close to 10)

Big shout out to adam at agile auto (04countryboy or some **** like that on the boards here) and well in short anyone have anything they can donate to help me get to 200hp? lol

Wow that seems really low

edit: Likely ignition failing at the higher RPM

You may want to pop over to technical and troubleshooting and read thru the diagnosis my s2 dyno thread.

Without having another rx8 to do a side by side run the numbers don't mean much. Dyno numbers vary depending on many factors.

Thanks for posting this result, it's useful to have some other s2's to compare with.

There's some good info here and it is probably worth continuing any discussion on diagnosis in that thread:

(I believe REtali8 is referring to the same thread)

I agree with some here. It looks like you are losing spark up top. How is the shape of the plugs and coils?

Plugs and coils have about 6k on them, Now last year I did do a 2 track days and one ended early due to the flashing CEL and ign. cut.

So I'm thinking that the cat may be getting clogged, but with out logging anything IDK.
