Anyone here using anp tune from pettit racing? Includes racing beat exhaust,k&n air filter for stock airbox and a custom map they make for your car after you send them the data from the dude logger device.You plug it in the obd port and drive around for a couple hours.Then send them the recorded data and they make you a custom map.If so what do you think of it?

12-14% increase with their 'tuner' kit which is a RB exhaust, the dude logger, and a k&n filter. 12% off of 232 is 27.84 crank hp gain.

That is all I could find for just the logger and tune. For whatever reasons it wants you to switch to a hot air intake to do it.

 

I'd do it w/o the intake mumbo jumbo.

Wait a minute...they have a supercharger working for S2? Do they do the tuning? I'm asking cos I got 6 grand

As far as I know ...

The last I heard - a couple of weeks ago - was that the S2 mods (ANP and FI) were 'almost ready' but not quite and Pettit US were busy doing the final checks and tweaks to make sure everything is right ... but this was from the UK leg of Pettit and there may possibly be a bit of a time-delay between the US and UK operations?

Did anyone with an S2 end up with one of these? Read some mixed stuff on compatibility. Just curious if anyone actually gave it a whirl?

I just spoke to them on the phone and the guy said that this DOES NOT work on Series II cars.

He seemed fairly knowledgeable about Rotaries and RX8s, so I am not inclined to dismiss him as an ignorant salesman. If anyone finds out otherwise, feel free to update.

 

They are working on it though. I understand progress has been hindered overvthe last few months due to their specialist tech having some other much more urgent things to attend to. I wait with bated breath.

 

Ha. When you select your make/model year in the drop down boxes on the ANP website--it says

"Good News! This Part Fits Your 2009 MAZDA RX-8 GRAND TOURING 2Rotor 1.3L"

It fits--but won't run very well?
