~2k for an auto exe bbk is f!@#ing cheap

really you guys don't have any more to complain about than other japanese cars.

a j's racing intake for my ahem..honda... is 1500...any "legit" exhaust from japan will cost you 2k+. this is not a *****-measuing type post at all...this is just the way it is and if you want to build a "LEGIT" "JDM" show car you will pay these prices...and lots of people DO

made some edits don't freakin kill me

I take it yours are the S1 kit? Maybe these are the "new" aka "charge extra now" S2 only ones?

no they are the same kit, non of the parts listed above are in areas that are different between S1 and S2, in fact these parts have been out for quit some time now. The latest part from AutoExe are the Toe End Links, Im awaiting a quote from Paul at Mazmart to get a set

I was a JDM ***** in a past life, right down to my JDM coin tray.

The price of the BBK is not too bad but the other prices are just nuts.

My brake ducting solution costs about 20$... of ducts. Zip ties do the rest :D
It's ugly as sin but it works. Autoexe is focused on building nice oe-like upgrades so i can understand the price.

Of the items I posted, I would think that the oil cooler outlet is probably the most well priced and legit upgrade. Then again one could just dremel a few of the fins off of the oem plastic liner.

My only concern about opening up that lining though is exposing the coolers to the elements. Since I drive my car in the winter, I want to try to keep as much sand and salt out of there as possible.

Absolutely. If i were to build a fast, good looking and reliable road car i'd buy some of their products.
Unfortunately, for the moment being, i find that spending on consumables is a wiser investiment for me
