Will an Interceptor-X work with an S2 ECU?

According to Esmeril, yes it will. This is a quote from the linked thread, talking about their turbo kit for the s2. My understanding is that its a bad way to tune, but thats just based off feedback on these forums.

We do tune when using our Microtech Plug and Play or an Interceptor X.

It's an ugly way of tuning.
Add that the s2 has a different sdais system too (progressive, not open\close) and you see why the crap-o-tech is a no go.

Neither of them offers a real solution.
It doesn't mean that they can't do it, it's just that the service they offer is less than optimal.
You can provide some datalogs, that's true but it will still be an approximate tune. Look at how many iterations are required when dealing with an s1 car and an accessport. Why in the world would they be able to do it with 1, maybe 2 maps?

Now if they offered a service like the one that jeff's offering...
