I have to tell you guys that I fell down on the job.
I mean I really FELL DOWN. I was carrying a rear iron down the driveway between two cars and I tripped. I tried to catch myself by running foward, that only added speed to the damage. I went dawn on my hands and face, there was carnage. My face is still swollen as my right hand, there was blood everywhere.
So I've lost a week. You don't heal very quick when you get old, Check my picture, that was after a couple of days.
Anyway the shifters are ready to be assembeled. There was one problem that I found just now. The shifter I madeled off of was one given to me by a factory race team a couple of years ago. That shifter had a Miata size bushing but was a Rx8 shifter. I made all the bushings that size. Last week I had Izzys shifter here when I was doing a Mx5 and switched them by accident, it woulden't go in. On inspection I found the larger bushing. I don't know when or why this change was made but I'm running all new bushings now. If anyone runs into this problem you'll know it because the shifter will not go in. I can change it for you.
Although Izzys car is a 09 so the change must have taken place before S2 production started. All S2's will be shipped with the large bushing.
Shipping should be in a couple of days. We will want to test a production part in Izzys car and I'm trying to get him now.

We did the final install on Izzy's car Sat and all went well. He took pictures and will do a DIY.
We had found something strange with the bushing but we made new ones and I'll be putting them together tomorrow and the next day. The S2's will then ship and the MX5 will take a few more days.
Sorry for the delay but as I told you I haven't been able to work in fact yesterday was the first day I spent almodt a full day at work. My right hand is still swollen and hurts. Some scabs but my face has cleared up well. Almost.
The parts are on the website now but pictures are late. Working on that too.

Getting absolutely frustrated that I made a payment nearly 5 months ago and have absolutely little to no information regarding the product, the shipment, the delivery, etc. I understand that there have been issues along the way, but as a paying customer, especially one that paid well in advance, I expect FAR BETTER communication.

Getting sick of these "end of this week" claims that never come to fruition. Richard, please update us.
