Before you guys start, yes the drop is coming I know it looks like a 4x4... Broke a rear spring a few nights ago so luckily I have no choice ...But nonetheless here are the rims that I've waited oh so long for.. The specs are 18x8.75+20 in the front, 18x9.75+20 in the back with 245/40 all around (so I can rotate the tires).. Let me know what you guys think.. I'll update when the cars finally dropped

 

Just incase anyones wondering, this is what an rx8 looks like with a broken rear driver side spring lool.... Frickin' canadian roads...

thats a nice setup i saw a winning blue slammed with those same wheels and i almost had to pull over to stare at it. i was thinking about the same setup after i get my springs. looks VERY good congrats. let me know what springs you go with and how the clearence ends up

just a question for when you eventually do drop. what fender work did you need to do for the rear? asking because i want that size tire & offset, but on all four wheels :D

 

Thanks guys. I ordered megan springs and they should be arriving sometime next week. I know I know I'm destroying my shocks, but I will be getting coilovers soon, this is just temporary. I will be posting pics of the car when the springs are installed after finals.

taemo89: I was rubbing like crazy in the back on the tiniest bumps. Since I had rust on the quarter panels earlier this year, I cut of the little lip instead of rolling it since the metal would've been too weak to roll it. I had to cut off ~0.5inch. The front is fine no rubbing at all. I'll update you after the drop.
