I considered these 530's. I think they look great.

Pieper, I love the gold with the Velocity Red.......great fitment too. Did you by chance weigh the wheels before mounting them? When I was researching these, an accurate weight was something I was unable to find. (I don't believe what XXR states on their website).

I didn't weigh them. I might give one a shot with the tires against the stocks the next time I have them off. They were being mounted shortly after FedEx came. My guess is slightly more than stock or close.

FYI for those that don't know yet the 530 will be available in 19x8.75 +35 and 19x10.75 +35 early next year as well as some other offsets and new styles. Just thought I'd throw that in there

I want to get 17x7 gold XXR-530's. Does anyone know if they will fit (clearing control arms, brakes...)? And if there will be any problem with the 17s lowering the car too far on stock suspension (bottoming out, wheel hitting wheel well or something...)? (I have a red 2004 GT MT)

Without offset its hard to tell you.

Why are you getting thinner wheels than stock anyway?

I believe they're +35. They aren't going to be for cruising. They're going to be for drifting (on a track--don't worry).

Here is mine, not the best pictures of the concave and fitment however, especially since I do have it lower now. I love them. Easy to clean, cheap, and they fit really well. Mine are 18x8.75 +25 front and 18x9.75 +25 rear
