so im contemplating just getting 4 new black rims for my 8. i am looking for some cheap good looking rims for the car. any suggestions? size of rims dont matter to me. only that the rx8 can use them and what not.

please help me out guys.
i dont have much money so nothing above 500$ for all four preferably
any links/pics of them would be greatly appreciated.
if nothing...any1 got 1 oem mazda rim/wheel for sale. one on my 8 is bent...its either get 1 new oem or upgrade all 4 to black ones...

 

Get one new OEM and then powdercoat them all black... only way to do it for $500 or less and be any kind of quality at all.

so whats the difference between the factory oem 18inch rims that go for alot of $ and say sum black aftermarket black rims people sell for much less- 600$?

 

different look, sizes, cheap quality, OEM is always kinda expensive because people will be buying their 8 used and most of the times the new owner hates the 22" rims on it or w.e is on it... just my 2 cents and to the OP, Powercoat them black... it looks good ive seen it, as for me im either getting the stock 18"s or finding better looking 18"s as i have base 16"

 

For that price the best you can do is replace your 1 OEM wheel and then powdercoat them all black...

youre going to spend a little more than 500 on rims. then you gotta think about the tire cost. youre tires are probably going to end up costing more than your wheels haha.

 

Powdercoating if done right will probably be more than $500 also because they need to be sandblasted first.

 

so seems like getting the replacement was best choice...will most likely get the oem ones powder coated black...hmm anyone no of a good place in so cal to get this done?
