Ok, I've clearly forgotten or done something wrong. Before I go any further I'd like to point out that everything was fine before I did anything.

Problem is my steering wheel wobbles back and forth and gets progressively worse as I go faster.

What I did earlier was removed all 4 tires to touch up the paint on my brake calipers. I did not remove or take apart the calipers, they stayed as they were. I also disconnected my battery to put in new HID's so my computer reset.

I've quadruple checked the lugs and attempted breaking at a high speed to even out the rotors. All weights are in-tact on the rims. The vehicle has no noticeable shake. Again, there were no problems previously.

Any suggestions?

even though you checked the lugnuts, check to make sure nothing got lodged between the rotor face and your wheel, looks like in your pic you've got stock wheels, so imma rule out the rim not being centric to the hub center, i work in a shop that does a lot of suspension / brake work, one thing i notice is that people occasionally tighten the lugs up with the wheel cocked a little bit, ive even done it a few times, and with the 8's factory wheels being hub-centric and a pretty snug fit, you may want to not just check for tightness, but actually loosen all the nuts, make sure the wheel is flush on the rotor face and that the hub bore on the rim isnt cocked on the hub center, it usually happens when they get dirty or corroded, the problem is that the nuts are tight, just not tight in the right place. Another way to check, is lift up the front of the car, spin the wheels by hand and look at them from side view, watch for a wobble. Hope this helps at all

Thanks for the tips, I tried jacking the front up and spinning the wheels. There was a wobble. So I took it off and I found 2 rings: a big one that looks like it came off the rotor and a wire one. The wire one had popped out and was causing the wheel to sit off.

I guess I should update my picture, I'm actually running Enkei RP03's.

How do I get this back together properly?

sorry it took a while to get back to you, you prolly have, but in case you havent gotten it yet, slid the hub-centric ring (thick one) into the back of the bore on the wheels, make its sitting inside evenly, should be recessed about 1/4" there should be a groove visable, that roung ring with the split on it is the snap-lock ring, start by putting one portion near the break into the groove in the wheel, and work your way around, once it snaps into place, your ready to go, we see a lot of these do this, its from people either removing the wheel and draging it a lil bit on the hub instead of pulling straight off, or when installing, instead of putting them straight back on, they set the hub bore/snap-ring/eccentric ring on the hub, it dislodges it and you dont see it, and then you have your situation. hope my info was helpful, glad to hear it wasnt something major.

Thanks for the information on that! I was really worried since I have to make a 200km trip on Sunday.

I managed to figure it out this morning, after taking off the other wheel to see how that went. Was a good thing too because on that one the small ring had actually popped out and bent towards the rim. So that's fixed now too, phew.

After closer inspection, a small sliver on the rim where the hub-centric ring goes had actually broken off and the smaller one doesn't quite snap in which is why it came out the first time. Yikes!
