19X8.5 + 35 will work up front as will +38. If i were you... id go with the more aggressive +35 setup up front.

For the rear
19X9.5 +35 will probably work... but thats a very aggressive setup for the rear. Do you have any higher offset options for the rear?

I'm not really sure what offset is i mean i've read all the definitions but still a little confused. the only way i could get higher offsets for the rear would be if i bought from 2 different party's aka lots more $$. and its going to be 19x8.5 f/r with +35. and maybe 245/35/19 Bf goodrich g-Force™ T/A® KDW any comments? if you see a better tire setup please tell me.

be advised that 9.5" +38 or lower with 265/35-18 Yoko Advan Neova AD07 tires will rub in the rear

you guys keep talking in generalities and somebody is going to get burned sooner or later

Well as opposed to 10 new threads everyday where these questions get asked... to just putting them all in one thread, people are going to ask regardless - so might as well have it placed in a more organized manner.

Yes, not all tire sizes between manufacturers are the same... but that is a risk that is taken when giving opinions on sizes. Also from the perspective of people who are asking or the many more people who are lurking... it gives them an idea of what range of tire and rim they can shoot for.

You have to realize, MANY MANY people dont know much about rim and tire sizes. I know a guy recently who tried to test fit an 18X9.5 -5 rim on his 8. He couldnt comprehend the idea that the Negative 5 offset wasnt going to work. At the same time... you have people trying to put 17" tires on 18" rims.

So yeah, these are not 100% accurate... but it does give the owner the best possible idea before purchasing. Would you rather they buy a tire and rim that had absolutely no chance to fit under any means possible regardless of the manufacturer?

haha!

sounds like something I might've ended up doing if it wasnt for theads like these and the help of fellow owners. I seriously learned ALOT just by reading and browsing through threads and posts.

thanks again for the info/advice...

i want to get the enkei rpm2's but there are two options

they are both 18x8 but one is 45 offset one is 35.

im slammed on jics and when i get it corner ballanced i will prob raise a 1/4 inch more...i want whatever firts the best with out modifying that will look good, hopefully closer to the fender.

225/40/18?
or
245/35/18?

i want a nicer slim tire so im leaning towards the 1s option???

any ideas??

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!

are you trying to run your odometer up quicker and get worse gas mileage? or are you just trying to get slightly better acceleration?

19x8.5 +42mm
Car's dropped on Tein H-Tech (-1.0 F, -0.3 R)

Will the rims and 255/35/19 tires fit without problems? I don't want to roll the fenders.

Thanks.

the rear will sit flush. the front will be significantly tucked in the fender well.
try to see if you can find a lower offset for that front wheel

Is that your car Easy_E1... just wondering because i was also planning on going with 265/38/18 on 8.5 inch 5-Zigen Pro-Racer GN Plus'. Do 265's easily fit on 8.5 inch rims or do some types of tires have issues. I was gonna go with Falken FK 452's. I was alos planning on loweing my car with Tein Flex coilovers and wanted to double check to make sure you have no issues. Also, i wanted the look of the wheel sticking out a little further from the fender, so I was debating going with a lower offset, maybe +35. Would this cause rubbing? "Will it fit?"

Raze R74... 18x8.5 Front, 18x9.5 Rear...
Got them for pretty cheap through EdgeRacing.com's annual WTF sale... Prices have gone up for the 18x8.5's since...

Car is stock height for now... The rims are just photo-chopped onto the car in my sig for now, but I made them the same pixel size as the stock 18's so it's about as good of representation as I could do lol...

Dead Thread?
If anyone is still out there im looking now at some O.Z. Ultralegerras in 9 inch i need help on wheel width and offset though. I dont want to go staggered, but i want either 265's or 255's, and planning on lowering my car in the future. As far as offsets, i was thinking around 35-40, but i dont like the look of the stock rear wheels being so far tucked back into the fenders. Any suggestions? Thanks...

So its 19x9
265 or 255/35 to 40/18
