hey guys. looking to put some new wheels on my 8, and was wondering if anyone has used wheelsnext.com? they seem to have really good prices on packages (and they throw in shocks), but i didnt see what brand of tires they used. any help would be great, thanks.

I just checked on there, and I couldnt find what tire they were offering in each package. Make sure its a tire you want... otherwise you can probably find a better deal elsewhere.

and why do you need new shocks with rims?

The tires that they sell are Nankang & Wan Li.

It's been awhile since this was posted, anyone had any dealings with them since this was last mentioned. They seem to be the only people to have these available
http://www.wheelsnext.com/default.cf...lor=HYPERBLACK
at a relatively decent price (fingers crossed the military discount is substantial). Also they come with the springs or whatever, I don't even know what those are used for? Can I ebay those for decent money? THanks.

These guys are notorious for selling narrow wheels (for example, discount pricing 18X7 wheels, when you need 18X8). Make sure that you order the correct width since they DO NOT indicate many of the cheaper ones.

Doubt if it'll be worth much more than 100.00 for cheap springs.

They come balanced and whatever, so if I need 18x8, they can't give me 18x7 can they? I'm a little new to all this.

I ordered a few years ago a set for my civic. They were exactly what I ordered. I believe they were wrapped in hankooks. they came with wheel locks too. Again, make sure they specify the full tire size with the wheels.
