1. Is there any pending lawsuits against rota as a company?
2. Has there been any fatalities or people seriously injured because of their rota
wheels?
3. How fast was this car going when he got these rota's broke off? there is no way this person was driving cafefully as far as we know this guy might have been street racing loss control and hit a curb really hard!! This type of damage isn't gonna happend to a person driving normally!!

4. If rota's were so much of a danger and is unsafe don't you think that the department of transportation would have gotten involved with this.

Alot the stuff you can't really believe on the internet these day!! So far it seems that your a sucker for news on the internet!! unless it personally happends to you or a friends you can't just knock rota and that there unsafe or is coming from a reliable sourse....i'm not counting that dude from the scca!! i'm talk about pending lawsuits or reports of deaths linking it to rota wheels.

The way you phrased this was as though it were a fact. Sportmax = garbage. If this were something more serious (you were an advertiser, competitor, etc) you could be sued for libel. If it were to be phrased as an opinion you would have said "I believe..." or "My opinion is..." Sportmax = garbage. If a cop pulls you over you can tell him you "think he's a jerk" not "you are a jerk" (I don't recommend either though). Free speech vs libel/slander.

Now on the flipside, I don't care what wheels you "roll". Rotas have been around for a long time. That pic of the Subaru wheel has floated around the net since at least '04. Rota was very responsive to what happened and took care of the owner. I haven't heard of any faults since (just that same pic). Look on the competition forum here. Thank You!! Good points that you brought up!! I completely forgot about the nascar wheels!! At the end of the day it all comes down to preference of the owner. I just thought that pic of that broken wheel was not really enough information to state that rota's were not good in quality!! There are too many factors that you have to consider when you see that type of damage on that wheel.
