As you can see I have a black 2008 automatic rx8 Sport version. So I got the smaller rims. 16' x 6' if I'm not wrong, and they also look a bit weird for a rx8.

Will I only be able to fit 16' rims in the 225/55r16 tires or can the 17's be possibly installed correctly?

I'm looking for new rims but don't have so much money to spend on new tires and all that stuff.

Does anyone know which 16' rims would look good on a rx8 in case 17 inches rims don't fit? Mine is black so I was hoping to find some darker rims.

I would appreciate to see some rx8 with different 16 inch rims other than the OEM version like mine. I haven't been able to find one picture yet about this.

Save your money and get some 18x8.5 rims and some 245/45-18 tires.

2008 auto Sport with 16's?
I though 16's were only on 04's and 05's
Also, didn't the Sport get the 18's anyway?

Yeah...Mine is a Sport 08' and I got the 16' rims from stock.
I have them on my album.

Just pick up someones used stock 18's for cheap. There's often a couple sets for sale.

The 16in stock rims are about as ugly as they can get! Like suggested.. keep saving up for appropriate rims/tires or buy some used oem stock 18s with tires.

If you have an Auto Sport, you would have 18's. You have a base auto.
