My opinion is leave the 18s, but lower the car down 35-50mm, almost to a tuck. I think you'll get the look that you're looking for without any other affects to the car's already excellent handling.

I'm gonna have JPR install a new suspension which should result in 40-50mm front and back drop. Will post some pics once done.

yeah they look like vw golf wheels to me also..

you could save the thousands you were going to put in wheels and use it for something else... Invest.. Buy a turbo.. Put it on a visa card and use it for gas/maintenance on the car so you'll never have to worry about using your "regular" money.. Or buy a motorcycle (250/500 ninja's are nice).. Customize the interior, new sound system, 10 32" tv's...

the options are endless what better use you can spend that money

I doubt *very* much the 20" wheels in this thread are lighter than 22 lbs. And any 20" wheel would have to be a LOT lighter than OEM to not increase rotational inertia.

^excuse mike's sarcasm. It was more/less an inside joke. Another forum member a while back tried to argue that his CHROME 20" zinik wheels were lighter than stock

in any case - i can't wait to see this monstrosity

please get some decent wheels for your car. If it's going to be 20's - get ssr's, volks, bbs's or hell, forgestars.

not a fan of the style, as someone mentioned they look like VW golf wheels.
20's are not very common on the 8, you end up with very low profile tires, the wheels are too heavy, and the styles you're limited to aren't as nice on our cars as some other 18's or 19's.

up to you though, it's your car.

jesus christ, go easy on the guy, he was just asking a opinion no need to turn him into a joke.

But i have seen a Series 2 with 20inch chrome rims, at a local rim store, it was indeed abit too much. I'd say go with 19s max
