What is this?

Put my snows on today

Attached is a shot of my right rear (OEM Dunlops with about 15,000 miles). Looks to me like I hit something, but maybe it's the tire coming apart

Any guesses?

could have belt separation...had the same thing happen on my YJ...or you were sold retreads..and it's coming apart,,,
