Alex, if YOU like them, that is all the matters. Nobody else here is ever going to drive your car. But from a personal standpoint, I think they're a very bad fit for the style of the 8 - it's a sports car and those are not sporty looking wheels at all.
1) it would have taken you all of 10 seconds to post what you wheels you were considering.
2) we would have given you our oppinion
3) you could have made a decision
and in the end, you could have avoided the hassle of sending them back (if in fact you dont like them) who knows, maybe you'll love them

i almost feel bad b/c i know there's a BB on here from a semi-regular that has similar wheels and i don't think he's ever taken this kind of heat. of course he knew what he wanted and doesn't care whether others like it or not and didn't come on here asking such a silly question like this OP.

You shouldn't feel bad, it's your car, not ours. Forget what other people want, it's what you want.
But Ross is right, it would have been easier to post the wheels you liked and asked for an opinion on them, because there was a breakdown in communication somewhere between what we thought you were looking for, what we suggested, and what you bought.
