An update on my set-up (285s and Rub)

Well I had 285s in the rear and they rubbed when I hit bumps/had a lot of weight in the car. I had the fenders rolled for $40, it was quick and took 5mins. It eliminated about 90% of the rubbing but I'd still get a little here and there. I recently purchased and had installed a set of 265s in the rear. Now I can have 3 people with me and hit dips and bumps without any rubbing!!!! It's great, although my one complaint is I feel like I've lost some lateral acceleration in turns. The car doesn't feel as connected with the road, and if I don't turn the DSC off it will kick on all the time when I push it hard into turns, when I had the 285s it rarely came on, only if the car was slipping badly. I really need to install my Swift Sport springs because I feel like I've lost a little in the turns.

Yeah I've been doing that, it's just annoying and I hate having the lights on, oh well I only have to do it when I'm really pushing it.

I had the same issue with 285/35's in the rear on 18 9.5 rims.. rolled the fenders myself and reduced rubbing.. bought tanabi nf springs and had to reduce the size.. I now have 245/40 in the rear with springs.. and the car feels great and solid on the turns.. I dont have any probs with the dsc.. with it off the car drifts easily without dsc activating itself.. but I rarely turn it off

I was going to ask the same thing. Took me and a friend holding the heatgun at least 30 minutes.

I took it to a shop they did it in literally 5mins, I don't know how they did (probably the wrong way) but there wasn't any paint crack and it looked like a real clean job. I was happy with it.
