I'm looking at putting some different tyres on my 8 but don't want to spend the earth. I have seen a set of Toyo Proxes TR4's 225/40/18's for £320. What's everyone think? Any better ideas?

 

Since your looking at all seasons, you can get another set for a lot cheaper if your only factor is price.

 

also its the wrong size. it'll have a smaller sidewall and diameter.

It's not just price I was looking at, I also wanted a decent tyre. The Toyo Proxes seem to be a decent tyre (not much noticed in europe I know) with a nice tread pattern.

I know the side wall is smaller but I thought they would still fit? I just thought the ride would be a bit firmer which I have to say I wouldn't mind.
