They're on and im lovin it! I do have to get the fenders rolled though. I went 19x9.5 rear with 35mm offsets. Really wanted 40-45mm but TSW said they didn't have them.

I washed the car tonight so im hoping to have some pix posted tomorrow or Thursday.

They really do compliment the cars curves IMO.

What color is your 8?

I have the Winners Blue. Do you think they will look ok on that? I haven't seen ANY Blue 8's with rims that i like....What color is yours? I really wanted black, but they gave me a pretty good deal on the blue b/c they didn't have a black one on the lot. Have you lowered your car yet? I can't wait to see some pics....where did yid you get the rims and how much did you pay? Do they have a website? How is that offset look? OK Enought questions for now. I'll ask more later I'm sure! PICCCCCCSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS......

Error On Page????

im trying to post pix but im getting a F in error!! very irritating and I can't find out who to contact for support??? anyone?

In the meantime.

PM me your email address and ill send you a few pix.

GSXRSTAR, to answer your questions.

Yes, the Hyperblack would look sweet on Blue! I'm about 1.2" lower all the way around with Tanabe GF210 springs. Unfortunately im rubbing a bit in back so im rolling fenders tomorrow evening. If TSW offers it go with about a 45mm offset in the rear, 40mm front. I went 35mm b/c thats all they offered when I called (even though online they show different)

www.wheelwarehouse.com (website SUX so just call) $1980 delivered with Nitto 555's (nice tire IMO)

Send me your email address and you can see how bad a** it looks (IMO of course!)

A agree that looks amazing I'm kind of a newbie to offsets. when you say I should go bigger...you mean that you don't think the wheel comes out enough in the wheel well? That is one of the best looking rims I've seen...Great on the black, I'm not sure about on the blue though....GOD I SHOULD HAVE GOT A BLACK 8.

No, he means bigger as in a bigger offset. Right now the rear wheels stick out TOO FAR and will rub if he goes over a speedbump. Rolling the rear fenders will keep it from rubbing.
Check this tirerack link for info on offset.
Stock wheel offset is 50mm(8in wide). His new rear wheels have a 35mm(9.5in wide) offset and rub. A 45 mm offset would have brought the hub mounting surface further out towards the outside of the wheel. When you install it, the wheel/tire would be closer to the inside and no rubbing would occur.

My sentiments exactly!

I guess if I had coilovers i could adjust the height of the rear to prevent any rubbing but I dont, so im rolling the fenders. I dig the look of the wheels but yes, 45mm offset in the rear would've worked better for me.

Ill let you know how the fender roll goes later. im doing it tonight at Automotive Specialist's in Round Rock. John Long's new shop (he was with Premier Mazda). 472-4977 if you need your 8 or Miata worked on

Adrian1, thx for posting. Im still getting an error message!

back to work

They surprised me too. I can feel them growing on me.

Looks good, but most importantly I'm glad you like them. I baught some rims that I thaught would look good on black, but sucked.

Oh, and for the obviously overdone statement.........drum roll please!....

Time for clear corners!

Growing on me & Eating Crow!

These rims grew on me too! I honestly looked at rims for a year and was close to purchasing on many occassions but just never LOVED any enough to spend $2-$3k. I NEVER liked the split spoke rims but these have some angles that really seemed to fit the 8 perfectly. Digging em more and more everyday.

Clear corners. I love the look but cant stand how they're not flush with the body of the car like the stock ones are. Do you know if any are made flush? If you do then im in. If you dont I might still have to do it b/c the pros far outweigh the cons.
