Toned down rt615s?

Considering getting a tire like the rt615 however due to the wear characteristics I was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation for a toned down version of it if you may. Mostly drive aggressively and autocross but don't want to completely destroy the tire if I take the occasional longer drive. I don't have time to change wheels nor the space to store another set

Any suggestions would be great!!!

How many miles do you want out of a set of tires?
How badly do you want to be competitive?

These are the primary opposing factors in your state tire wants.

Think I can get 15k out of em? I'd be fine with that. And I like to go as fast as possible lol

You'd like the Dunlop Star Specs.

^^^
What he said.

I've heard that the RE-11's offer good grip and decent life as well but I won't know until I get mine mounted and run this summer.

Idk about the star specs, but I had 615's on most of my cars. The mr2 had aggressive alignment, but I'd wear them out in about 8k miles. My supra, civic, and multiple vw rabbits have gotten 13-14k out of them.

I will say they are great to drive on, and holy crap they are awesome in soloII

I never ran the Dunlops, but I did have the ST615's on the car for about 15K miles. That's with a couple of track days and aggressive street driving.

I think you can't beat the value of the 615 s

Wondering how unpleasant they are to drive on regularly tho
