I guess the mazda dealership missed it when i brought it in for a oil change.. it happens when you have new people... they usually have the less experienced guys that do the tires and oil changes.. still no excuse they are playing with peoples lives
No kidding, couple oil changes back they over-tightened the filter, which cracked and oil was leaking everywhere for weeks before I noticed a burning smell when coming off the highways.

Now it's warranty work only for me. And once that's up... bye bye dealer.

I can't speak for anyone else, but personally I have hit 135-140 mph thereabouts on several occasions (in legal settings only of course). I have a pure stock 2005 GT 6 Spd (Special Ed. but that's just an appearance package). I don't think it's ever been flashed unless during that big recall we all had to do.

I just recently put on coilovers, and i began noticing excessive wear on my driver side tires. I was pretty sure that i got an alignment right after i put them on, but remember that after that i ran over a curb on the driver side (both tires) going cruising speed a few months back . I had chance to take off all four tires (to cross rotate) over the weekend and did notice that the passenger side tire wear seemed to be fine, but the driver side was weird.

on the front tire (FL), the outside was the most worn and it progressively got better as you move to the inside. my thought were that it was toe....

on the rear tire (BL), excessive wear appeared to only be on inside 2 inches of the tire...my camber isnt that negative in the back, so i presume it's toe again...

im taking it for an alignment today after work. it's only been a few months since i had my last alignment (my tires were still good then), but i guess i never realized that the toe could have affected the tires this much. ive never had uneven tire wear prior to this and i didnt notice any pull in my normal driving...my PS2s are on the way out the door anyways (2.333 years and ~30k miles)...

On a side note, i noticed that the PS2s had some small cracks in the center grooves.
