Tire size question

I just recently purchased. 18x9 wheels. I was wondering if i could fit a 235/35/18 on it or do i have to go up to a 245 thanks

The 235/35/18 will fit on the rims, but the diameter, as compared to stock, of that tire/wheel combo will be much smaller which will put your speedometer off (It will seem like you are going faster than you actually are). I would go with a 245/40 or a 265/35 to stay pretty close to the stock diameter.
