He's as bad as Can
From Page 5-27 of the manual
When changing tires yourself
If you or someone else changes tires, you
or someone else can also undertake the
steps for the TPMS to complete the ID
signal code registration.
1. After tires have been changed, turn the
ignition switch to the ON position, then
turn it back to the ACC or LOCK
position.
2. Wait for about 15 minutes.
3. After about 15 minutes, drive the
vehicle at a speed of at least 20 km/h
(12 mph) for several minutes and the
tire pressure sensor ID signal code will
be registered automatically.
Be sure to have the tire pressure sensors
installed whenever tires or wheels are
replaced.
NOTE
If the vehicle is driven within about 15
minutes of changing tires, the tire
pressure monitoring system warning
light will flash because the sensor ID
signal code would not have been
registered. If this happens, park the
vehicle for about 15 minutes, after
which the sensor ID signal code will
register upon driving the vehicle for
several minutes.

check your tire pressures while you're out resetting the sensors just to make sure. mine came on intermittently during the past week, turns out the colder weather has caused my tire pressure to drop to like 28psi, so i promptly filled it up w/ air, no more warning lights.

yah i know that the cold weather thing but when the weather had effectied air by condensing it the pressure light is solid not blinking. but i'll try and fill it up. it makes sense that could be why its outa wack with the cold front that just came in, and that the sensors need to be reset.

good for you youngen, but mine started flashing AGAIN last night on my way home, i check the tire pressure and they are all dead even 35psi. of course, this morning when i drove in to work, everything's back to normal again.
curiously, it almost ALWAYS begin flashing on a specific stretch of the highway on my way home, and then when i get off the highway, most of the time it'll stop flashing by itself. i wonder if there's some type of radio interference on that stretch of highway that's throwing off my sensors.
i guess i'll just keep driving and keep an eye on them, the tires are fine, no leaks, so i'm safe for now

You have the little extentions on the valve stems that have a built in tire guage? If so, take them off, they are probably causing your air to leak out of your tires. Go buy a decent tire pressure guage. It cost less than 10 bucks and is worth its weight in gold.

lol. Didn't even know such a "valve stem" gauge existed.
Like Wilson said - just get a regular TP gauge, check pressure weekly, and black tape that flashing f8cker!! TPMS is silly anyway, imo - especially on a performance car.

On a regular basis, after 10 minutes of driving, my TPMS light starts flashing and usually stays on for the rest of the trip. Occasionally it turns itself off, but not often. I thought that cold weather would affect pressure when tires are cold, setting off the sensors, and that the tires would warm up after driving a while and the sensors would go off. Mine seem to work the opposite.
It first started happening last October when the weather was getting cooler. I didn't do anything at first because I thought that was normal. A week or so after it started happening, I replaced my summer tires with all seasons on my stock wheels. Tire pressure was 33, same as before. Did the TPMS reset process too. TPMS light still flashed. So after a couple more weeks of daily flashing, I took it to the dealer and they said it was normal. I asked "EVERY day?!". I made them check and they said they replaced one sensor, but it was on a tire that was "low". The light did go away for a few months. Then it would come on intermittantly mid-trip, so I chalked it up to radio frequency.
Now it's happening daily again. Tire pressure is still 33. The temperature is warmer now. I understand the radio frequency thing, but every day??? And it always starts flashing 10 minutes after I start driving - no matter where I am.
Thoughts? Ideas?

I will ask the dealer to look at it when I bring it in to swap tires later this year, but since I'm out of warranty now, I guess I'll have to deal with it if swapping tires ain't gonna fix it

btw, if you read the owner's manual, if your tire pressure is above/below the 'safe range' (26-45psi IIRC), the tpms light will GO SOLID and you will HEAR A BEEEEP. flashing tpms light means there's a 'malfunction' to the system. the $64,000 question is finding out what is malfunctioning...
