In the process of installing a set of springs on my buddies 8, the nut for the rear lower control arm was stripped i fear.

I want to fix this for him but need to know the thread pitch/diameter for ball joint. If anyone knows this, it would be apprectiated.

Also, for my own reason, will 17 inch wheels fit an 04 RX8 MT? I'm not 100% sure if it's a GT or not, but it currently has 18's on it from the factory.
