Done a search and couldn't find anything...

Recently fitted a Tein Strut Brace to my 8 and as expected the engine cover no longer fits. Has anyone managed to mod their cover to fit over the Tein?

I've had a look and unless I'm wrong it's going to need an aweful lot trimming off in order to fit.

better airflow with it off, just leave it with the brace only

 

Where did you get the tein? I thought it was discontinued a long time ago.

 

Wasn't aware that Tein had stopped producing them :S

I got it from Camskill (http://www.camskill.co.uk/) they were a good £20-30 cheaper than anyone else.







I may end up leaving the cover off just think the bay looks empty without it though.

Yeah I found it on the Tein site a year or so ago and when I inquired with vendors they all said it was discontinued (in the U.S. I believe)

 

That color would go PERFECT with the Lambo green RX-8!

 

why keep the cover on? i think it looks better without all that plastic
