Tein S-tech or RS*R on my 19'' ?
Hey guys i had been searching on forums abt both of this spring and yet..im still confused ..My option is to get either Tein S-tech or RS*R with STOCK OEM SHOCKS..so i wonder which one would fit with my rims and my bodykit.
Here is the spec on my car now
Bodykit
Fully Mazdaspeed
Rims
19x8.5 ( Front ) Offset +35
19x9.5 ( Rear ) Offset +35
Tire
245/35R19 ( Front )
275/30R19 ( Rear )
I dont want to have Fender rubbing issue or Mazdaspeed bodykit issue and also give me perfect drop i wanted..like 1 -1.5 fingers gap. Which springs will give me less problems and enjoy more ? And also hows the ride quality and all.. thanks guys!!
If can try to post some pic in here.. thanks.!

if you get RS*Rs you'll defintely be rubbing...especially in the rears.
as for s. techs i'm not too certain. i know they drop pretty nice, but its no wehre near the RSR drops. that what i have with OEM GT shocks and oem wheels, and if i had either a lower offset or wider wheels they'd def rub in the rear.

i'm pretty sure, but i'm not certain, just wait for atilla to see this, hes a crazy about wheel specs and he can defintely let you know if you have problems. but i'm more than positives a drop would give rubbing issues..
if you can find RSRs theyre great. i've been loving mine, but the s techs are pretty popular and seem to be a great choice.

he knows too much...TOOO MUCH its kinda scary at times.
but yeah definitely pm or wait for him to see this thread. he'll chime in for sure and give you a definite answer about your wheels and rubbing
trust me the dude knows what he's talking about and will help you tons.

Never fear, Jedi is here!!!
I'd go with S-Techs, I've got them on my car with Koni struts and I do not rub with my 19x10 wheels.
I did roll the fenders though due to the size of the wheels

those 275 tires are gonna be an issue.

gotcha, yeaah, the only reason i really went with the RSRs is cause i was able to get them for 130 new, plus i like the way they rode.
its your car, the s.techs are a good choice, but you gotta dish a bit more to get them.

But some ppl said rs-r & s-tech probably just the same and similiar..even Atilla said that..and it made me even confuse! So you;re on RS-R as well ? how the ride ? got pic ? did u roll your fender too ? can it easyly be done ?

yeaah, thats what i hear a lot as well, thats why i went with the RSR because we got them at a rock bottom price.
yeah i'm riding with them, iits slammed all a round and i have stock wheels
this is before the install of the springs (mine is in the foreground dozer's ride is in the background. he also has rsr springs)
this is a few hours later
since my wheels stay in the wheel well i havent need to roll, but if i ever get wider tires or a set with a lower offset then it might be necessary.
its pretty easy to install if you know what you're doing. we all had a install meet and knocked out 2.5 cars in a couple of hours.

Haha .. wow i seen that pic..i know it drops really low..but im just worried abt many problems will appear after i install them..such as fender rubbing and bodykit cracked due to being too low..how abt racing beat..will i still have rubbing issue if i install rb spring..?

for sure you'll get rubbing without rolling
and bodykit crackin, should be fine as long as you keep from scraping...but thats on how you drive.
i believe the racing beat has really moderate drop, i think its less than the s. techs.

I'd say S-Techs....
I have them with OEM struts....and 19X10 rims with 43mm offset...which puts them at about where they would be on your car with 9.5" rims and 35mm offset....
I did have to roll my fenders but I did it for the set of wheels I had before and I have 275-35-19...normally you'd go with a 275-30 on 19....you might not rub...either way...rolling the fender doesn't hurt anything...and I really like how the S-Techs are sooo comfortable around town...yet offer a great handling improvement....and they work well with the OEM struts.
