Tein S before and after question.

Hello

I installed Tein S last weekend and I can see the car being a little lower now. But I am wondering if it shouldnt be even lower. I did the preload thing by driving the car around the block once. But I did not cut my bumpstops. Can you guys see on the before and after pics if it looks right? The one to the left is before.

Bump stops will not affect ride height. Did you take before and after measurements from center of hub to fender? Pictures lie, measurements don't.

How did you perform the preloading? Did you have the weight on the suspension when you torqued the upper control arm bushings?

Also......this has been discussed tons of times. Did you try a search?

as JCrane said, measurements are best, but from that picture it doesn't look like the rear springs were properly preloaded.

It's defiantly lower,
If you're looking for slammed you need coilovers.

The rear should start to sag eventually and it should even out.

It should lower a bit after driving it a few miles or so, so be patient.

Put rear of car on stands. Pull wheels off. Jack under wheel hubs to compress the suspension enough to start to lift the chassis off the stands. Then torque the control arm bolts.
