LE37s in gunmetal. I have a green 8 and I just got the TE37s bronze and love them. The LEs are shiney on the lip and a bit more showey. We have seen the GT7s on an RX-8 that looked stunningly good in gunmetal or that lighter silver color.

sure, but its not a great pic.

I chose the offset for street driving which is +43F/R. 8-1/2 in the front and 9-1/2 in the rear.

There are several offsets you can run with the Volks depending on how deep you want the rear lip. If you pull up the Ings body kit with the blue car, it has the TE37 White with a +23 offset in the rear. A good guide for offsets in Hyperrev magazine. They have the offsets of all kinds.

Visually the difference is about a 1/2 inch with +43 and and inch with +23. There is another thread under the wheels section that has the same bronze TE37 on a light silver 8 and with the more aggressive offset which is the same as in the Ings add for Volk.

I am running F245/35/19 and R275/30/19 with my wheels. The other guy is running 245 in the rear to make that offset work in the wheel well. I don't have the suspension set up yet, so there is a pretty big gap in my pics. His pic has the car dropped and it looks great, but I wonder if he had to roll the fender.

Another great wheel for the 8 is RacingHart J8 diamond cut. The wheel is 10 in the back and fits the RX and the Supra application perfectly. There is a thread also with a pic of that. The diamond cut (almost white its so silver) J8 looked fantastic next to the 8. It was just too showey for my dark car.

have you checked the calling all ti grey thread in the multimedia section? they don't have any work or te37's, but they have a couple of ti's with gunmetal volks. the te37's are classic, but the work's are growing on me.

i saw Mantis's wheels in person, simply amazing, soo good. and agressive. I wasnt a huge fan of the nordic green 8, but the more I saw hers (stock) the more I liked it, and now that I saw it with the bronze volks....AMAZING. Im loving the RX8 in a whole new scale.

Mantis : we need to do another photo shoot some time, with the new wheels.

the work emotions only come in two colors, bronze and gunmetal. the largest size you can get them in is 18"

volks/rays wheels can come in any color. you just have to specify and pay about $100 more. i would definately go with the TE37s...forged casting and its by RAYS!!

i got my wheels through Daniel @ www.desmondperformance.com (my car is on their front page ) call him up and see what he can do for you, he helped me out alot.

These are off of Showoffs 8. IMO, these look amazing. I could afford a set of 17s... i would so buy them for my track wheels.

TE37's have always been my favorite wheel:

Those Work wheels are pretty nice too though.

te37s all the way. Not taking anything away from the works though, the positive in choosing the works is they are helluva cheaper. But looks wise te37

I vote te37s. How are they in weight comparisons? The Volks are lighter, right?

If you go with the Work, get the set that has more concave rear. That might mean you have to run staggered.

Either wheels, you'll be happy.
