Exclamation TAR-OX brake

Just get this in the email:

>This is to advise that we have now available the kit for Mazda RX-8
>As it was developed for a top notch demo car it has top class specs
>350mm discs and red alloy hubs
>12 pot red anodised B350calipers
>a set of 8 pads ( 4 pads per each caliper)
>2 clamps
>2 braided hoses
>and fits the standard Mazda 18" wheel
>The kit including all the above components but in standard gray
>calipers and gray hubs retails at Euro 3250
>There is a 8 caliper version with has the same specs but lees piston >in each caliper that retails at Euro 3050.
>We are planning a smaller version using 340mm discs and B34 6 >pot caliper that will costs approx Euro 2490.00 but it will be ready >for early September due to the Italian holiday period from Aug 6th >to 24th.

How does TAR-OX compare with Stoptech, KVR, Brembo and the like? In the U.K., there is much clamor about TAR-OX, but I don't think there any any U.S. distributors.

I dont care if they are 50 times better than Stoptech, Brembo.. etc ..... I mean come on.... if your 8 is not planning to see the race track.... why bother with a 12 pot brake system?

Agreed. I visited their webpage, and TAR-OX offers a 12-piston caliper. I have never heard of a 12-piston caliper in my life.

When you think about it, the stock brakes are pretty damn good. I believe all they need is a good set of brake pads. Ceramic, maybe?
