Sway Bar problem

i bought a tanabe rear sway bar from a dude with an 04 rx8 and it doesn't fit my 06 rx8. I have the sport suspension on mine and the other person had the base model version. Does anyone know of any differences so i can figure out what to do with this sway bar?

Shouldn't be any fitment issues between 04 and 06, sport versus base. Sway bar attaches in the same spot regardless. You may have the bar upside down.
