Suspension upgraded - help needed

Well i think a shock needs replace to be confirmed.

But ive wanted coilovers anyway and ive always though id go for tein super streets or monoflex as i liked the idea of being able to change dampening but now i think before i commit to buy i should have a look around

Whats everyone using? and how do you find
Handling
drivability (i.e. comfort if any)
How easy is it to ajust the heigh?
Finally price?

Hey if I had the money I would get the KWV3 that are for sale in the for sale section. Oh yeah get the Rotas that are for sale too lol the KWV3 are life time warrenty! cant go wrong + the drifters use it on the 8. But if your not into that or tracking its kinda over kill for the streets.

You dont need coilovers for street driving. They are best suited for track use since you can make a lot of adjustments. For the street. I have the Racing Beat anti sway bars on my car and it made a huge difference. But if you want to upgrade your entire suspension go with springs, sways and either mazdaspeed shocks, tokico d specs or the koni's. If you lower your car you will need better shocks then oem ones. Out of the 3 shocks a listed the tokico d-specs will give you the most adjust then the koni's and with no adjustments the mazdaspeed shocks.

KW3 or konis + some spring

are probably the most popular option around here

^ what are you talking about. The KW3 is a coilover kit and comes with everything you need. There is no need to buy shocks and spings with a coilover kit.

I meant that the most popular set up is either KWV3 or Konis matched with some spring. sorry for the confusion

I just installed the KWs and am impressed. I have them set pretty soft and it still handles better than the RB springs I had before. I have not tracked, but I will be ready if I do.

Adjusting the height takes a few minutes per wheel. Jack a corner up till the wheel is off of the ground, loosen the set screw & adjust the height. Jacking the car up is probably not required if the car is on a lift, but I imagine it makes the adjustment easier.

Price is about what I was going to pay for a inferior set w/ in car controller. Glad I changed my mind.

Rebound, dampening & ride height are all individually adjustable.
