Staggard question

I recently purchased a set of staggard wheels (19x8.5, 19x9.5) and Im not sure if the fitment is correct.? Mounted, the rear wheels stick out about 1" from the fender. I looked at pics of 8's with staggard wheels and the same size tires I'm runnin and the wheels lay flush with the fender.. Is this right or do I have to buy a dfferent set of rims? (mayB 18")

Btw. the tire sizes im runnin is 275/ 30

you forget to factor in the offset of the rim when you purchased. The offset will determine how far out the rim will be from the hub. Even though the width is 9.5 in the rear the offset will determine if it fits under the wheel well

The offsets for the wheels are 32mmF and 35mmR, this still seems awkward?? I dont see why they stick out so much...

Ouch. the stock offsets are 50mm, so the centerline of your rear wheels are 15mm (~0.6") further out than stock. Add your .75" extra rim on the outside, your outside edge is sitting 1.35" further out from stock!

The pics are not going to be too clear cuz of the weather, but you can definatly see how bad are the offsets.

I'd think the tire would rub at the least...may be even damage the fender if you hit a big enough bump, since the tire is out so far.

I dont see how this is possible. I have 19" x 10" with +35 offset and you can see they dont stick out like that!!

yep, mine are 19x9.5 with an agressive as hell offset (+30 or +26, I can never remember) and mine tuck fine, not sure what happened on yours, maybe a misprint or something?

edit: mine are staggered as well, 8.5 and 9.5, and yes, my car's handling is completely and utterly destroyed, I can't even drive it in a straight line because it has been so adversely effected by putting staggered wheels on it, o woe is me

What rims are they? are you sure its a positive offset not negative (unlikely but hey!)

As for staggered, I have 8.5" fronts and 10" rears and have no issues.

Omg,, Thats wierd, Im going to email the company i got the wheels from... Hopefully its not a missprint but thats what it says, 35mm offset in the rear..

(Auzoom yours dont stick at all and your widths are wider than mine, i dont get it?)

(Canary I dont think staggard wheels affect your damage that bad, do they?)

I think i have bad luck with this car, I bought some clear corners the other day and they gave me both the lights from the same side.. This suxxkz
