spacer opinions wanted

I have 19 in wheels that are 19x8 +40, I was thinking about pushing them out to +35.

I run 245/35 tires and I want to make sure I do not rub in the rear. The car is on s-tecs too.

Anyone think this would rub or should I be going even further

You can go further without rubbing

Yeah you can go a lot more

You should look into extended studs after 10mm or get bolt on spacers.

You can run 15mm spacers and you should be safe.

That would put you at sticking out 1mm farther than the popular 18x9.5 +45 w/275/35 setup which is known not to rub.

Anything greater than 5mm slip on spacers should either require extended studs to be installed or make sure to use spacers with built in studs (i.e. Project Kics Version II), just to stay on the safe side.

Make sure to take some "before & after" pics

I think I will be looking into getting 10mm. that would put me at 245/35 on 19x8 +30

That should look pretty damn nice.

I have 5mm slip ons just sitting in my garage but when I put them on its like there are only 3 to 4 threads that I could get to on the studs which, IMO is not satisfactory.

I generally always run hubcentric spacers but I have tried on those little slip ons. I have enough threading on the studs and never had a problem.
