Some sizing help
After a lot of reading I have decided that Staggered would suit my interest better. Lot of street drag, and the occasional recreational auto-x. I was looking for some help with tire sizes and the offsets recommended. I have decided that I want to go with the HP design Evo Wheels (18x8.5 up front, 18x9.5) in rear. I believe that I want to go 245/40 on the front? (Correct me if im wrong) But what Should I go in the rear? Also if anybody would know the correct offset I would greatly appreciate it. I want the wheels to sit flush with the fenders and I cant stand when they stick out. And I would also like the tires to be just big enough to give the wheel some but minimal cushioning for those damn curbs.
Another idea that popped into my head was to go 18x9.5 all around. Would the wheels up front stick out at all? A nice pre-emptive thanks for the advice.

TeamRx8 has 10.5 all around and they don't really stick out. (Though he has a slightly funky setup) If you Auto-x I would expect (I maybe wrong) that you really don't want staggered. You will start under steering a lot more.

Already read it.....Picked up some great info but didn't give me the correct diameter sizes for tires......I have already learned that 245/40 are as close you can get to the stock diameter, and others were 275/35 but I dont recall if anybody mentioned how far off these measured out to stock

Try out this link. It will help calculating tire sizes.

I like this one a bit better but it depends on offset on your wheels (+40 to 45 is a good conservative offset) to determine the tire size
275/35/18 should be just fine
