Safe, Good Drop?

i recently bought my rx8 a couple weeks ago, and i am planning to lower my car on tein coil overs after the winter. what is a good looking drop, but is still functional? (low speed humps, drive way bumps, rail road bumps)

I'm thinking about a 2.5 inch drop in the front and 2 in the back

+1...I really like to lower my car but I scraped on mall bumps, some driveways with the stock height..
If ever I go lower, i'll drop it to 1" .

on sprint spings which is basically a 2inch drop and its perfect for me.

I avoid speedbumps, but 20% of them are okay to go over, The one at my school parking deck gets me every time and i baarely scrape my midpipe, its a big bump.. the low style speed bumps are no problem whatsoever..
My lip is usually an 1/8 inch higher than curbs.
My doors are always higher than curbs.
No problems whatsoever with RR
Baaarely scrape my midpipe on the sidewalk when going up my driveway

snapped a pic for you.

Im not sure if this changed with an alignment, because i havnt had the time to get an alignment after dropping the car.. I dont really mind, i want to kill these shitty nexen tires.

Not sure if its okay or not, but as far as daily driving, i believe it is the perfect balance between looks (lowness) and practicality (no scraping on ****, and hitting curbs)

I am unsure if my oem bilsteins make the car lower than standard S1 shocks, so i might even be lower than 2inches...

I am lowered on Tein 2 (1.4" front, .7" rear)... I have no problems with speed bumps, or curbs next to the door. But I do scrape on plenty of driveways and the front lip will definitely not clear a curb.

That's very possible. Perhaps one of these days I'll measure a curb and get back to this thread.
