Spring has arrived in BC.

looks ok..i think you should have gone all the way and did the entire rim...kinda like how back in the day when old school celica's and corollas would use supra rims...

I removed the center cap because I wanted it silver. The masking took a bit of time because I did it with the tires on. I sanded the spokes with fine steel wool then I sprayed two coats of VHT wheel primer, three coats of VHT gloss black and three coats of VHT clear coat. I purchased the wheels and tires from a rx8club member last October. I installed them last week because I was waiting for it to warm up here before I put them on.

Somehow the rim looks smaller if the rims aren't entirely black.

When I did my 16" rims all black people thought I had 17" rims.

When I did my 17" folks thought I had 18" rims.

There's something to be said visually when u have the wheels and tires matching colors. It just makes the wheel look that much bigger.

Very nice! Modded wagons are the shiznit. And they just plain confuse the hell out of people. I wish I didn't have to sell mine. Why can't someone make a track-ready wagon dammit???
