I guess it will fit a big tit blond on the front bonnet...
It is not bad ... just different.
I think some yanks does have this style... it is not country bound or anything.
I am more of a low profile and I just want a Volks wheel when I do get one... anyone seen the new VOLKS... just forgot the model number CN... (something)

We do all different types of wheels ,everyone ends up looking unique in the owners eyes and we have to respect that.
My one is used strictly for attracting attention to my business (OZZY TYRES) and that is what it does...even if its in a negative way it still attracts attention...
like they say "bad publicity is good publicity"
lets not take them too seriously they are just cars...

It's ugly.
But I can understand why someone would do it regardless of what car they have. Some people just like "big" and "more" things. Some like it "just right". And some like it "stock"
Also, for people who aren't so much into performance and hardcore car-mods, the wheels are the only thing they would ever modify on their cars. And believe me guys, there are more people like this than us here. I think the bling bling wheels and big ones attract more people from the masses than any of us on this forum.
Ozzy IS making an effort at getting publicity (good or bad) on the RX-8.

i dont see any problems with it. the guy has a business to run, and nothing beats using his/her own car as a promotion tool. if i was him, i'd have different set of wheels each day...... at least we know that the 22" will fit, now i want to know if 24" will fit?!?
im in sydney australia too. i have 20" all round setup, and it is getting "dumpped on its ****" tomorrow.
just like me, i have business to run, thats why i didnt care what colour 8 i get (i have a black 8 at the moment), cos it will be full resprayed soon and have body works done to it to promote my business/services.

Your speedo will be way off.
Even if you managed to get 30 series tires on there at the stock width (225mm), your speedo will be 9% too slow.
That is 60 MPH when you are really doing 65 MPH.
In low gears, this is completely screwing up your steering assist, ABS and TCS/DSC. Not to mention your kingpin and caster as well as the damage from the incredibly high unsprung weight of those chromies.
But I guess you will be putting miles on the clock at a slower rate then reality, so you have that going for you.
A bicycle tire will probably be a better choice for that rim. At least it will be stylistically consistent.

he hasn't stirred up any controversy...he's on his way to prove that he is one Aussie that is obviously in the wrong line of business...usually people trying to promote their business do it tastefully....and mix matching 20" and 22" on the same car just shows your ignorance and that you shouldn't even have anything to do with accessorizing auto's...try interior design or something...
