Squealing can be caused by the pad itself, some pad compounds squeal more than others, or it could be the wear indicators signaling worn out pads. A visual check of the pad thickness will tell you which. Neither of these requires an upgrade. If you aren't tracking the car on road courses, the OEM pads should be fine for you. Just about any pad "upgrade" will cause more dust and possibly more squealing.

Squealing can be all but eliminated by using the factory shims on the backs of the pads combined with synthetic high temp brake grease applied to the shims and pad backing plate contact surfaces (do not apply to the pad friction face). Pads, OEM or aftermarket, often start to squeal when this grease wears off.
