Then why do you need our approval or why even ask for opinions?

Two threads in a row all you do is argue, whine, ****, and moan like this is your personal forum and dare anyone have a different opinion or outlook than your own. You are not special. You are just another member with an opinion just like everyone else. Anyone is free to express their opinion here and as long as it fits within the context of the forum rules if you don't like it then tough sh-t.

It just seems that you are all over the place with what you want and cant decide. Its fine for shopping around. But what you are doing is like someone trying to decide between a GTI and a GT3.

You said a couple times that you don't know what to look for in a good quality wheel. Looks are one thing but it gets much deeper than that.

Aside from the obvious up-pricing of buying into a specific brand name, what you need to do is a little bit of research about what it is you are actually paying for with the expensive wheels.

In doing research, you need to look at weight and construction to name a few. Learn about the difference between cast vs. forged. And what it means to you as the consumer.

Depending on what you plan to do with the wheels can play a big part in what type of wheel you should be looking at.

oh and btw, when considering that a set of the RUFF wheels you mentioned may cost $1200, WORK, ADVAN, RAYS and the like are most likely $1000+- each.

Thanks for the info. Im not sure "im all over the place" I just want new rims that will look nice on my car. I dont need them to do anything speacial or anything at all other then look good. Im not into racing, not into competitions, i just want tomdrive my car and make it look nice. All the things you listed dont ever seem to come into play for OEM wheels for guys like me who dont race or anything so I didnt thi k I needed to look that deeply into the specifics of these wheels other then looks and price. My thread here was just asking if anyone has ever bought wheels from this maker and any opinions on the wheels I posted, thats all the info I needed or wanted to know. If I was into racing and whatever else Im sure those things you listed would be i portant and something I would need to look into. So thank you for the heafs up and the info its appreciated

What the hell are you talking about? Are you serious moaning and pissing? I posted the thread asking about these rims even after reading reviews from other websites because I wanted first hand info from a fellow RX8 owner and see what his opinion on these rims are. Thats not so difficult to understand is it. Please tell me where i pissed and moaned at all here? All I did was constantly say thank you to everyone for their help. And that other thread Indidnt **** and moan either. iI was insulted by a few people for no reason what soever and completely unrelated to the topic. And i defended myself in a pretty calm demeanor. Should i have just said nothing when jwckasses talk trash on me? Come dude lets add a little truth and readimg comprehension when your gonna post **** like this. Why post this crap at all? If your not interested in helping just move on to someone elses topic no need to come into mine and **** and moan which is what you really are doing. Enough already act like an adult and either post something helpful to the topic or kove on. Take care

I dont onow why im even posting again but where the hell did I have a single problem with anyones opinion here other then the trash talk about my finances in another thread. Again this is wheren4th grade reading comprhension comes into play. I have said nothing but exactly that that everyone can have their own opinion and i will never or do have a problem with that and that issue is nowhere even remotely a topic in this thread, grow up bro

Nooo!!! Not goimg thru that website. The 15% military discount i was getting there and the 4% finance rate was absolitely amazimg but i foumd out later on that the reason they could give me those amazimg rates and discoumt is because the seriously mark up their rims up to aroumd 75% more then any other reatialer selling the same rims. Major major rip off deal there!

FYI right next to the "quote" button there is a "multi-quote." You can quote several users in one reply. If you want to quote 3 people, click the "mult-quote" on the first 2 then "quote" on the third. Then within your reply you can separate the quotes and make a reply to each of them before you submit the whole reply.

Since you aren't worried about anything execpt looks and price......wrightcomputing's comment about TireRack is where i would start. You can also check out DiscountTireDirect:

Home - Discount Tire Direct

Their prices are good and include free shipping and free mounting and balancing with a tire/wheel package. They also have a simulator that shows the wheels on your vehicle.

If you ever think that you will get more into the performance aspect of your car, then take your time in picking out your wheels/tires so you make the best decision. Many people think they won't get into autocross or track days and buy cheap heavy wheels that "look good". There are also cheap wheels out there that aren't heavier than stock, and will still be OK for performance (not as good as RPF1's of course, but still better than stock).

PS: Heavier than stock wheels will make the ride worse on the street. Unsprung weight is important. Try to stay as light or lighter than stock (22ish pounds).
