Hi People, It's my wifes car!, but i have to take care of it. We put on Yokohoma Ice Guard tires mounted on 17" rims,( the car came with the 18" wheel pkg.) In warm weather (above 24f) it has a definate rubber smell. I've read the posts regarding this and to be honest I haven't seen anything credible yet. I have noticed in the back wheel wells, there is a fine black rubber dust, but there is no damage to the tire or wheel well. Thanks in advance. An old circle tracker.

 

im not sure really, as i dont have to deal with winter tires/wheels, but there is probably an issue with the offset of the wheels or size of the tires, causing them to rub.... hoever this seems very unlikely coming from the back, as they do not turn. what a useless post! sorry...
