i was looking into RO_JA wheels before. they are heavy in most of the sizes i needed for the miata and the 8. too bad, since some of the designs are not bad. they are produced by motegi wheels...just RJ DeVera's( said "damn that guy's fast!" in F&F movie) signature line.

Also, an ebay sell told me the following since the roja site said nothing... "Weight on the 19x8 is 25lbs, 19x10 is 28lbs". That seems pretty light to me.

i don't know why. maybe because it is a so called "signature" wheel. kind of like a guitar...two identical guitars (same hardware, wood) but one has a rock star's name on it, so the company thinks they can charge more. and people do buy them for more.

there are many vendors claiming certain weights for wheels...but sometimes they are optimistic, as in they are telling you what you want to hear. hell, there are times when the manufacturer quotes the wrong weight for their own wheel. Konig quoted their Greenlight wheels as being light (15x6.5 @ 13lbs i believe; turned out to be more like 15 lbs). Brian Goodwin had them on his site, and weighed them himself. and he is pretty honest about his products.

anyways...if you trust that Ebay vendor or don't really care about added weight and a different steering feel, by all means go for it.

good luck
