My Mazda dealer just installed TPMS sensors in my new Racing Sparco D-Spec Stage 1 17x7 wheels when they mounted my a/s tires.

Is it true that the Volks racing: SF Challenge is tmps compatible? ive heard from a few that they aren't. Also, if its true that the SF challege's are compatible, how about the Volks Racing GT-S? Any help would be appreciated, i just want to verify. Thanks!!

I was told by the manager at America's Tires, "New car specifications require TPMS. All reputable wheel manufacturers are now incorporating TPMS into their wheels. There are probably some wheels that were made prior to this change still being sold."
I have G-Games 99Bs (made by Ray's, who also makes Volks) and the stock TPMS was installed with the new wheels. |
does anyone know if any of the grams light rims especially the T57-RC or the 57F Pro take the tmps? The T57's are casting one peice while the Pro's are Forged 2 peice. How about the regular 57Pro that is casting 2 peice? Any info would help and sorry for all the questions :)

do the tpms fit all motegi rims ?

These take TPMS....
3 piece forged 19" OZ Rafaello's |
Is TPMS absolutely required to have on the wheels for our car? Outside of the warning light, what effects does it have on the car by not having it? Does the warning light also incorporate a consistent beeping of any sort? I am looking to get winter tires/wheels, and really am not keen on spending the extra $250 or so for these things when I will probably just make it a ritual to check tire pressure regularly.

anyone know if they work on FN01RC? im really thinking about getting some.

TPMS question
Sup guys,
I'm thinking about buying some new Kazera KZ-A rims with Kumho ECSTA tires 225/40/18. They will be mounted and balanced already. Is it easy to remove the TPMS from the stock rims/tires? I've never done this before. (Anyone got a link on how to remove them?) Thanks. |
I am looking to buy ADR rims. Are those covered in this TPMS crap? Man I hope so. Getting a heck of a deal on them!
|
57f is also capable with tpms!!
|
Has anyone ever cracked a rim on a pothole? Can I file a claim for this $550 dollar piece of equipment?

this isnt really a list of wheels, its a jumbled thread. maybe the OP can edit the first post and start adding to a legible list?? |

18x8.5 Work Emotion CR-KAI fit the TPMS just fine.

Since this long dormant thread was revived:
I have a thread about my whole situation a year ago when I went through it. What my issue amounted to was that the actual rim pass through hole was a little larger than stock and the stock gromment(on the TPMS) wouldn't seal up tight enough and I would slowly lose pressure. If I drove like a bat outta hell, it would leak faster. I finally figured out what to do after much trial and error. So, I took grommets(others have used #5 o-rings) and with the TPMS in place, take off the cap(obviously not the end cap) and work the grommet/o-ring down over the valve stem, over the cap threads and down as far as I could into the rim hole(which had a lip about midway through). Then put the cap back on and tightened it down. So essentially I have the normal gasket sealing from the inside of the lip in the rim hole and the new gasket sealing from the lip hole in the rim to the outside. Dave So.............the HP Racing EVO Lightnings will work, but you better do some additional work. Also..............there is a new TPMS gasket now(newer than 05's might have it?) that looks a little better and is larger. It can be seen in my thread as well. I go find it and post it here. Here's the short thread and it shows what I did and photos of both styles of grommets on the TPMS's if anyone needs it and or is interested. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tech-garage-22/tpms-gasket-114960/ and https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...12523#poststop |
motegi tracklite 2
Will the motegi tracklite 2s 17x8 fit the 6 speed, and can I use the sensors in the original wheels or will I have to buy new ones for the change in size?
|
Did anyone have experience with enkei RPM2 18*8 +35? will it take TPMS WITH no problem as well? i am thinking to get those rims recently, so i really need help right now...
|
wonder if you have even been to www.discounttiredirect.com , i have seen a bunch of selections of wheels there and they also have tpms mentioned there? Can anyone tell me if the wheels that they list will take tpms for sure like tirerack.com or they just list everything they have depending on the size?
|
I am going to clean up the rims and change my plugs tomorrow. I will try to take some pictures to post here so that those interested are welcome to look. I inspected them fairly closely and I dont see any scuffs, scratches, or anything of that nature on any one of them. Other than alot of brakedust, they are basiclally flawless. I would not be selling them if there were something wrong with them as I would not sell junk to anyone. I hope to post some pictures in the next day or two. Bare with me as I have been so busy the last week and didnt have time to do much of anything.

so if my wheels are tpms compatible, is i as simple as plugging my old tpms into hte new ones and go? is there any reprogramming thats needed?
|
18" X 7.5" Racing Hart CR's, anyone know if these take TPMS? I see CX's don't but have hopes for the CR's.

Summer rims, TPMS questions
Bought a 2005 RX_8 GT this past January and bought a set of snow tires. Used the stock rims with TPMS for the snow tires, thinking I'd get a separate set of rims for the summer tires I removed (Kumhos with a lot of tread left).
It's time to switch, and ideally I'd like a set of light, Mazda TPMS compatible rims that have the same dimensions as stock (since I want to keep the summer tires I have), without being the same as the stock wheels I have in the winter. Any suggestions? Also, when I look at Tirerack, etc., they often mention TPMS, but is this the same TPMS that came with the stock rims? If not, do I need to have the sensor in the car reprogrammed every time I switch from summer to winter tires and back? Thanks in advance for any advice. BTW, I the 40th anniversary wheels I've seen at the local dealer are stunning (for aesthetics, I like seeing the rounded triangle/rotory theme suggested or repeated in the wheels), but I suspect they're too pricey for me. |
Anyone know if 18x7.5 R1 Racing Hype wheels take TPMS?
|
anyone selling rims?
|
FYI...
All wheels that TireRack shows for the RX8 are TPMS friendly. I do not know if you can reuse the stock sensors, but a new set @ TR runs about $220 if memory serves me. I believe they are OEM sensors. |
JIC Magic J-Force 05
Just picked up JIC Magic's J-Force 05 and they work fine with TPMS.

i did search for the one thread i was going to ask this in, but couldnt find it. thanks The main thing is that you have 4 sensors, and they are all showing relatively same pressures. If you mount two, but leave other two in trunk, it won't work. either all 4 mounted in rim, or all 4 in trunk. Will take 10 minutes of driving before they resync with the TPM system though. Are those 17" or 18" Enkei RFP-1's? My 19" Axis Hiro's are off the car and up forsale and getting ready to buy some 17" RFP-1's and was on here to find out if they took TPMS (so i can transfer them to the new wheels). Do you know if yours will actually fit them if you did have them? |
18x10 KMC GTX's are confirmed to work with TPMS
|
Anyone know if the Tenzo Cuzco version 1 will work?
