Rim Recommendation

So i'm looking for Black rims with a red accent, whether it be a certain design or red lip or what not.
I'll be installing my stance coilovers soon and lowering quite a bit.

Here are some examples for the Black /w red accent i mentioned (i don't think these fit the 8 though, and their only an example)

http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-tir...%20Stripe.html

http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-tir...%20Stripe.html

Or these in red instead of blue https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/wedssport-sa55m-installed-rx-8-18x9-0-36mm-%7C-245-40-18-a-207592/

I like Rays/Volk/enkei but open to anything. Looking for nice rims not some cheap-o's

Rolling the fender and looking for a aggressive fitment.

Any ideas?

Any Vendors have any suggestions/sales?

That color combo is called time attack and it's played out IMO. But if you like it, just find a style you want and go for it. As for fitment, well there are threads that address that so search and you will find what you are looking for.

Hmm...that's the issue, I've literally looked through tons of rim pages and the only ones i really like are these https://www.rx8club.com/ravspec-online-174/wedssport-sa55m-lightweight-tuning-wheel-18-19-available-207303/ but the red looks orange....
So that's why i was asking to see if anyone else has found any that look really stealthblack/red aggressive looking rims? any of those really.
As for the fitment, I've searched and found countless threads, was just wondering what's everyone's favorite.

There is an ongoing aggressive wheel thread, an ongoing will it fit thread, etc. if you had bothered to look and/or search this area first

I'm not looking for fitment specs and such, i've read through both of those threads, i'm more asking if anyone has seen the black/red "time attack" design i mentioned and have any suggestions/examples/recommendations. As i've searched countless vendors and found a few but am looking for help in finding this design.

The fitment specs was merely a later added on "if you have a favorite say so but not necessary addition to any help you can give."

There is no everyone favorite, we all have different varying opinions. Some like function over form, some like form over function, and some like everything in between. Red and black rims on Velocity Red RX-8's have been done to death.

Some do it right:

Some do it wrong:

I've seen the red bead ones everywhere but that second one i lol'd. I would never do that to my car.
Thanks for the examples though.
I guess i'll keep searching for more black/red designs tomorrow. I'll post any i come across. Really looking for a Pure Red/Dark Red accent on black rims with a aggressive look to the style if possible. Just haven't come across it yet. There has to be one out there...

Okay so i've spent hours looking for the style and colors i want. And i'm going to either change direction or get something custom done.

So my question is. What rim is this?! I love this style.

I searched through volk pages but can't find this specific style.

That website seems to be having some technical issues, once you pick a rim and try to go to finishes it has database errors.

I'm getting kind of attached to the rims above though. I might get them and get them in like stealthblack or flat black or stick with my black/red combo somehow. I'm sure i can find a custom rim painter around here somewhere.

They are SF Challenge with a custom paint job and they belong to Rotr8.

There is a huge difference in quality and price between Drifz and Rays. I know you will say you already know that... Then why post up saying you do not want cheap wheels with links to cheap wheels?

lol I get the point you're making. Those pictures were examples for the styling i wanted, not that i liked that brand. I started the thread saying i liked rays/volks/enkei but i just couldn't find the style i wanted in those brands.
and i still haven't so that's why im going to get the above pictured/linked volks and get them custom painted (:
thanks for the help identifying though. I really appreciate it.
