Removing caliper paint from brake rotors

So I just helped my friend out with painting his brake calipers, after we took the take and newspaper off of the calipers and rotors, there were a few medium sized patches of paint on the rotor where i guess we werent able to tape off or just accidentally sprayed.

Any ideas on how to remove the caliper paint from the rotor without damaging the rotor? I know we can probably scrape it off but im assuming the calipers shouldnt be scratched correct?

Thanks 8Club!

ended up getting it to come off with paint thinner! was fairly easily, just took a rag dabbed with the thinner and some elbow grease to scrub the rotors.

Hopefully this will help someone else out who is looking for a solution and knows nothing about paint
